St. John’s wort
St. John’s wort has sedative and analgesic action. It is used in the treatment of neuralgia, anxiety, tension, and similar problems.
Lemon Balm is indicated in cases of anxiety which can be shown in the digestive system in the form of indigestion because the oils it contains are sedative and relieve tension and stress. It also exerts tonic action on the heart and circulatory system, causing expansion of the peripheral vessels, thereby reducing blood pressure and causing relaxation
Chamomile contributes its relaxing action to any combination of herbs against anxiety or insomnia, while relieving from dyspepsia that often leads to nervous tension (and vice versa).
As an infusion add a teaspoon of the blend in 96oC water. Allow it to sit for 8-10 minutes in a covered pot and then strain. The mixture can be consumed 3-5 times a day.
